About the Three Hearts
The Three Hearts represent the Holy Family, and birth is a large step into entering family life. Starting the journey with the intercession of the Holy Family can bring peace and guidance to this stage of life. The Sacred Heart of Jesus, Immaculate Heart of Mary, and the Chaste Heart of St. Joseph have meanings that embody the whole of family life. We can turn to the Holy Family so that we may be guided to follow the will of God. Asking the Holy Family to help us can bring confidence in our decisions, especially during pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum stage. The Three Hearts help me make decisions that are best for families, and to hear the needs of each family. Entering into family life, whether it is your first or fifth child, comes with challenges that we must turn to God for. What better role models are there than those who listened to the will of God in such perfect ways? Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, pray for us!
The Face Behind Three Hearts Doula
My name is Victoria Hubbard, and I'm the owner of Three Hearts Doula! My doula journey started with the revitalization of my Catholic faith in 2020. I started to learn more about the unique gift God gave women in motherhood. I realized that the gift of our bodies and our motherhood was so special. During this time, I struggled with some health problems, and I started to look into holistic medicine. I was amazed about how much I didn't know about my own body, or even about birth! A passion for advocacy and birth education then sparked in my heart and has been burning ever since. I opened up Three Hearts Doula in 2023, put the business on pause to get married to my amazing husband in 2024. Now, I am back doing the mission God put on my heart! When I'm not talking about birth, babies, or holistic health, you can find me cooking/baking, working out, going on hikes with my husband, reading, listening to podcasts, or praying!
My faith is the most important part of my life, and I love being able to bring it to the work that I do. I have had a strong devotion to the Three Hearts since I began to grow in my Catholic faith. The Holy Family has guided me to hear God’s voice, and His call to birth work. I have learned about the importance of families in our society and the joy that comes from them. I would love to help bring God to the center of this journey, and to be part of the joy. Y’all are in my prayers!
