Services & Pricing

Doula Services

  • My job as the doula is to be your emotional, physical, and spiritual support during birth. I am there to help you, as the mother, through natural comfort measures and labor progression, as well as support for dad and the family! According to, Impact Of Doulas on Healthy Birth Outcomes, doulas have shown to bring a positive birth experience, decrease cesarean rates, and deliver higher healthy baby scores! When I am present, you have the ability to focus on what you need as a mother and father during the labor process!

  • Good news! The beautiful thing about Christ is that He is always present in our lives (along with Mary and Joseph!) and ready to guide us in all of our needs. When we have our meetings, we will discuss what will bring you comfort during birth including but not limited to: prayer, praise and worship, silence, and/ or Scripture. We will invoke the Holy Spirit for wisdom and submission to the will of the Father.

    Along with prayer during labor, you and your family will be in my daily prayers! Prayer is such an essential part of my life and work, and it is only fitting that I pray for you!

  • I cannot and will not ever replace the job of the father during labor. Birth is such a special shared time for you and your spouse. My job is to be a knowledgeable support person to help dad comfort you!

    As your doula, I can be relief for dad and bring evidence-based comfort techniques as well as be an advocate for your choices!

  • For doula services, the total cost is $1,550*.

    This includes:

    • Communication during pregnancy

    • One to two 45-60 minute meet ups at 37 and 38 weeks

    • On-call services from 38-42 weeks

    • Comfort and help during labor

    • Two hours of post-partum care after birth (guidance on breastfeeding, help with cleaning, making food, etc.)

    • One post-partum care visit (during 1st or 2nd week of post-partum period)

    • Ability to use birth ball and peanut ball

    • Use of TENS unit, essential oils, and heating pad.

    *$50.00 will be added for locations 50-74 miles from Denton. $100 for 75-100 miles from Denton.

Post-Partum Care

  • This is care that I can give you and your family after the baby is born! This is through providing support for the mother’s healing, nutrition/exercise, emotional transitions, infant feeding, infant care, and light household work! If mom and/or dad need a nap, help with laundry, cooking, or basic cleaning, I am able to assist.

  • You and I will sit down and evaluate the care you need*. I do postpartum work up to 6 weeks after the birth of your child.

    *2 hour minimum per day

    NOTICE: If you are a doula client, you will already get one post-partum visit two weeks after labor. If you wish for more, it will fall under additional post-partum care.

  • $35.00 an hour with a minimum of 2 hours scheduled.

    If you are 40 miles from Denton, TX, $10.00 total will be added to your visit.
